This conviction looks totally wrong, i doubt it would go ahead in this day and age. This really needs reviewed. How can a lad be convicted on only circumstantial evidence?

Zéro, yes zéro DNA. A total miscarriage of justice. Déplorable. So much for British justice! I’m absolutely disgusted by the way in which this case was handled by the police. Luke is obviously innocent.

Needs to be freed ASAP!! Then compensated for his loss of freedom and all the mental turmoil etc! Hopefully his poor mum can get somewhere decent to live and her health sorted - utterly devastating!

The DNA speaks for itself as Sandra Lean and other have said, this young man has been wrongly convicted and should be released. Jodi's killer IS still out there, fact!

It's quite clear from the Channel 5 programme that there has been a terrible miscarriage of justice - only the police chief remains perfectly satisfied they have the right man (boy).

After watching Murder in a small town documentary- Luke Mitchell is 100% innocent- no DNA, massive miscarriage of justice, the police who dealt with it should hang their heads in shame! Don’t know how they can sleep at nite! Absolutely shocking! Luke should be freed - he had absolutely nothing to do with the murder of that poor girl!

Luke should be freed. No evidence and loads of reasonable doubt. Innocent until proven guilty and he was not guilty.
Free him his innocent
