I live in the county, but the idiot of a Mayor in Knoxville has really surprised me as far as her in action in the rise of crime and the heartbreaking incidents at AE.

99.9% survival rate and even these numbers are inflated - all of a sudden people aren’t dying from the flu, cancer, automotive, etc.

The Health Board has over stepped and is hurting businesses and families. It’s time to stop this madness.

We have duly elected officials that should be making decisions on behalf of the citizens of Knoxville. This board should be dissolved immediately.

I'd love to see how the Knox Co Board of Health weighed lives at risk vs lives destroyed as consequence of their unconstitutional actions, as at least 80% of the board at some point swore an oath to 'do no harm'. Knowingly causing severe damage to society via increased and undue anxiety, joblessness, fear, depression, and every vector to deaths of despair known to medical practice on the basis of saving some 1/10,000 lives (almost all these at life expectancy ages/already afflicted dying and in nursing homes with bleak outlook prior to CV) is either criminal in intent or actionably negligent in execution of duties. And please, don't tell me the board was unaware that almost all CV deaths occur in age groups of 70+, or that CV should require all businesses shut down because 1 or 2 individuals younger than 50 have died: that's out of ~470,000 people. Where are the stats for Knox county increases in divorces, suicides, overdoses, long term effects on children (who may never truly adopt a normal social structure due to forced fear of what is essentially a cold to them). If the public had a truly democratic method of holding those accountable for all the damages of this farce, and we weighed all the damages long term, I'd be suggesting 20 years PRISON TIME for all involved MINIMUM. I understand it's a tough call, that's why as a board they should have done more to show that their actions were prudent and not just expedient or easy (I could make a mandate to never leave the house, won't that save lives?). Look at Nashville, where the county executives knowing skewed reporting and data to sway public opinion away from what would be the good of the people toward the good of the official/towards the desired narrative. And if dozens or more (mainstreet bar/club owners and workers) are negatively affected by data manipulation (in this case data withheld), who was to know better or ever find out? We' would never have known about this policy of information suppression,
