We are a non-partisan collective of concerned citizens and business owners that are embittered with the politicians who have allowed parts of the Knox economy to be closed or arbitrarily limited without justification. The Knox Health Board has exceeded the scope of their authority in the subjective closure of businesses impacting bars, restaurants and music venues. We have come together to campaign for the removal or proffered resignations of the Knox County Commissioners Board as they have not protected our rights by removing the Board of Health for cause as described under Tenn. Code Ann. § 68-2-601 subsection D. The inaction of the Commissioners shows to us that they failed in their duty to protect our rights to free commerce. The Board of Health has arbitrarily set binding guidelines without peer reviewed data to support their decision, and we demand the commissioners step down for failing to serve the people.
