Imagine sitting in court as one of the jurors while prosecutors propose three different theories on how the victim was killed. First, she was knocked in the head that lead to internal bleeding. Second, she was chocked to death, and third, she had been anally raped causing a nerve to be triggered and a system shut down of the body also known as anal laceration. For every guilty man arrested and put behind bars, an innocent man has, is, and will end up next to the criminals that deserve to be there. Well friends this happened to a very close person to me, my cousin Hooman Ashgan Panah. The Supreme Court will then be under pressure to give him his fair day in trial that they have now been neglecting for fifteen years. The U.S. should step back and work from within to help their own justice system before trying to help other countries. How does the U.S. expect to spread the idea of freedom and justice when they do not practice what they preach This hasn't only happened to HOOMAN, but to many others that we may never know about. Why do we always have to wait until it happens to us or someone close to us to realize the un-justice Imagine if it was your cousin or brother or son or friend Would it then matter that our justice system is shady For fifteen years my auntie has been driving out to San Francisco every other week, religiously, to see him and not one day stopped fighting for her only son's freedom.
