At the moment, when you graduate from Kingston University London you have to pay around £20 - £30 for each guest you wish to bring to the ceremony. You also will have to pay to hire your gown which will also cost you around £40 (these prices vary slightly). This means if you bring a couple of guests, you will be paying out in total nearly £100. I propose this should all be FREE! Kingston University is one of many few that do not require you to have to wear the gown to attend your graduation. This could be the start of another trend; to make graduations free across the country starting with Kingston University. You pay thousands to attend university to earn the right to acquire your degree so why should you pay to enjoy your graduation? Make Graduation FREE!
