Yes! When you exist on the side of the fence that I existed on for over a decade, you are tagged and moved around like cattle, or like property. We on the inside feel like we are being human trafficked, from one BOP controlled site to another. It's extremely demoralizing and dehumanizing to cage and warehouse human beings. We as a country have a propensity to find it appealing to punish and cage to the maximum extent of the law instead of seeking new innovative ways to rehabilitate and even forgive people who commit transgressions of the law. Surely, putting me in a cage for 10 years because of my stupid behavior did not fit the crime I committed. The sentence imposed must fit the crime. Otherwise it no longer justice. It's abuse.
