The banners are returning to the rafters and the university is finally making this right. I am completely drained but proud that we held our ground until they conceded. Keep an eye on the official announcement to ensure they follow through on every word.

It’s time for the University of Michigan to invite the Fab Five back to campus. When I am elected University of Michigan Regent my first action will be to vote to welcome Chris Webber and the Fab Five home, rehang the banners, and yes, apologize on behalf of the University. The silence from the university administration remains heavy despite the growing momentum behind this request. I am spending my evenings reviewing your comments and realizing that this history means far more to our community than they are willing to admit. We are not turning back now.

The momentum behind this effort has become impossible to ignore even when the days feel long and the resistance seems set in stone. Seeing so many people recognize that it is time to do what is right pushes me to keep going despite the exhaustion.

I want it to have it back! Because they never cheat the basketball game. They play like a Real Champions! They deserved to be recognition. It is not the player's fault. It is the parent's fault without NCAA Penalty. Thank you!
I worked the intramural sports bldg, during Fab Five era. Chris Weber: What a gentleman.
Given how the NCAA hardly punished UNC and Kentucky for way worse acts, it’s time to put back the banners and restore the wins.
Their skills , talents and athleticism won those games. Not gifts and or money. The University took their Banners, sullied their names, however they didn't issue refunds to the ticket holders after they did so. SHOULDN'T HAVE EVER HAPPENED!!!
Dontvre write history. I think this hurt them more than was justified. Those games were real

Boosters gave money to many athletes yet these five were singled out. Save me. We all know Country Day is a pay to play. Didn't just start in the 90's.
