We, the members of the Underground Bowling Association (UBA), are petitioning for the removal of Douglas Herron's 3-month suspension.
For two seasons, Doug has been a positive member of the UBA Community. His fun-loving, sometimes annoying, style has made him one of the more recognized personalities within the organization. He has proven to be an excellent representative of the association, and an even better "World Champion".
While Dougie may have made a mistake in editing one of UBA's posters, we do not feel that he did so in a negative manner. Doug has shown that he is everything that a UBA bowler should be. He is active, entertaining, and has brought life back to the UBA Group page and World Championship Title series. Clearly, the UBA execs have felt the same way throughout the season as Dougie has been featured on the majority of UBA's videos and promotional materials.
We do not feel that Dougie's actions are deserving of this suspension. We ask that you consider this petition, and hope that your decision to suspend can be overturned.

Other folks have altered UBA materials, team logos, etc without repercussions. This at least served an informative purpose! Also, since when are UBA officials expected to demonstrate "professional" conduct?? Whatever happened to "UBA, not PBA"?
FREE DOUGIE. The flyer was meant to be informative. Officials never let anyone in the South know when the venue had changed. Dougie took the time to edit a flyer to show that the featured bowls and house did in fact change.
Man let this dude bowl. Dougie is a great and phenomenal champion. It's a shame that we want to keep out our champion from doing what he does best. Dougie is the man and has made the title more relevant again. I could make a negative comparison comment but for now I will keep my thoughts to myself. DOUGIE IS THE MAN!!!!!!! LET HIM BE FREE AND DO WHAT HE DOES BEST!!!!!!
Doug is a good guy who was messing around and caused no harm to anything or anyone. If you do not hold your officials responsible for their actions you shouldn't be out suspending bowlers, which really just looks like a back door way to get the belt off someone you don't like.
there was no malice intended and further more all the UBA NEEDS IS ANOTHER STRIP OF THE MAIN CHAMPIONSHIP HEADED INTO BATTLE BOWL..ONCE AGAIN AS IN THE PAST WITH THIS SWIRLING AROUND THIS ORGANIZATIONS MAIN BELT BEFORE IT'S SIGNATURE EVENT....LIKE IT OR NOT BREEDS BAD FEELINGS AND CONTROVERSY. .THUS CREATING A NO WIN SITUATION FOR THE BELT AND ORGANIZATION. ..THANKS
It’s actually promoting the sport of bowling in a positive way and hopefully bringing attention to a much needed younger generation so this sport doesn’t die out!!!!

Dougie really got suspended for no reason at all his antics ridiculous but he keeps everyone informed when they need to be notified of something. He barely altered the picture it was just a question mark over the fact of who should have been the opponent that's not worth being suspended for
