I have been hearing from so many of you who are tired of being told your perspective is valued while you are simultaneously restricted by the very systems you are trying to help fix. These barriers to travel prevent us from being in the rooms where the actual decisions happen. I am currently drafting a detailed proposal to show exactly how a freedom pass removes these obstacles and restores our basic agency.

Seeing this momentum grow feels like the first time the system is actually listening to our lived experience. It is incredible to see so many people recognize that we cannot fix these services if we are stuck at home without the basic means to reach the table.

its common sense if they want our input they gotta make it possible for us to actually get there. simple as.
YES. this is so badly needed. costs me a fortune to travel just to help out with these committees and it leaves me short for the rest of the month.
