I really thought this might just stay a small thing between me and my neighbors but looking at the notifications now is honestly kind of overwhelming. It means so much to see that so many of you still care about keeping the rivers open for everyone because I was starting to worry the tradition was just fading away.

Keep fishing open. It is a way of life for us out here. Stop closing off the best spots for no reason.
GOV KITZHABER NEEDS TO LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE FOR ONCE. DONT TREAD ON OUR RIGHTS.
Fishing is the only way my kids get away from their screens and enjoy the outdoors. dont take that away.
Common sense regulations are fine but total closures are just wrong. Let us fish.
My grandpa taught me how to fish on these rivers. You cant just take away something that is part of who we are.
