What on earth is this city thinking? They have kept this poor dog behind lock and key for 6 years?????? If this isn't the perfect example of NEVER donate to a NATIONAL/INTERNATIONAL humane group, this would be the reason why. They don't SAVE animals, just as in poor Brindi's case, they have been heartlessly cruel to this poor dog for 6 long years. What crime could ANY dog possibly have committed to be locked up for 6 long years??? There is definitely something wrong with this city, county, province, whatever you call it up there. I am still praying for Brindi to be release UN-harmed to her owner. If she IS harmed, SPCA may as well give it up INTERNATIONALLY, as this story tops all the lame commercials they use to beg money off from unsuspecting victims for their own personal gain. Do ya need more mail stickers? Do you need more notepads, cards with cartoon pets on them and stupid crap??? NO, you need Brindi freed, PLEASE quit donating to these large animal hating groups.

The only way for the HRM to save face is to apologize for the abuse of power, immediately releasing Brindi, and then working on a major overhaul of the system that fails so miserably.
Just as a 'cold case' is re-opened, so should every case that has passed through the hands of the HRM as far back as any person who feels they have been unjustly punished through the murder of an animal companion.

This has gone on for so long - it is the equivalent of torturing this poor dog - keeping her in isolation for YEARS for doing NOTHING that warranted this. FREE BRINDI to her owner.

This is so fantastical and backwardly barbaric I thought for certain it had to be false. Alas, it is true. What is wrong with you? Refusing to release a 10 year old dog to her family or acceptable foster?? Let Brindi go home.
