I have spent the last few days talking to venue owners who are terrified that these new costs will force their doors to close for good. They are trying to keep the soul of our local scene alive but this policy is pulling the rug out from under them.

Seeing this support grow makes me think of all the tiny clubs that are struggling to keep their doors open. This momentum is proof that our community refuses to let these new costs silence the music we love.

Our music scene is great but we need diversity too. Please stop making it impossible for touring acts to visit our country.
Jason Kenney needs to rethink this. It hurts the local economy more than anything else.
i want to see more shows not less. this just makes it harder for everyone including the fans.
KEEP LIVE MUSIC ALIVE! We want to see our favorite artists without them being priced out of coming here.
Ridiculous. Small bars are struggling enough as it is. Stop taxing the music out of our towns.

This is just gonna kill all the small venues. Nobody can afford these extra fees. Real bad move for the music scene.
