With the introduction of tuition fees students have been turned into consumers of education. The NUS has failed to deliver a strategic and sustained struggle against tuition and top-up fees. It is up to us to organise and mobilise students for the cause of free education. Herewith I pledge to take action against the further increase in tuition fees.
