My name is Calvin Tsang, and i was banned from all UDE sanction events. With this petition i hope they will lift my ban or at least shorten it. Though UDE has refuse to answer any of my emails, as I have sent 4 emails and none of them were replied The incident occurred in Gen Con Indy on Thursday morning about 12pm where I took a VS System oversize card (Fizzle) off the wall and placed it into my bag, this was intended as a joke to the tournament organizer Danielle Mangin since we are good friends and I have judge for them in many past events. I was stopped by a Gen Con security and was asked to explain myself, and I told her exactly what I was doing. She thought I was attempting to steal the card which I denied and was later told to just put the card back and never do it again. About half an hour later I was called over by Sean Mangin (Tournament Organizer from Professional Events Services) and was asked if I had taken the card off the wall, I reply with a straight answer about my intention and what I did, he told me that Scott was extremely angry because apparently in past events people have stolen things from the site. I was told to go over to Ian and Scott and explain myself and apologize, so I went over and explained my case to them, they told me they would have to kick me out of Gen Con Indy as well as suspending me from events till further notice. Throughout the entire process I did not try to lie nor create a huge scene, I just accepted my punishment and left the convention. You can ask Danielle Mangin as well as Sean Mangin about my behavior and they can tell you I can be annoying at times but I have never stolen anything as a player or as a judge, there was never a problem concerning lost items or anything close to it. Paul Ross and other level 3 judges such as Jason Luckhardt and Jason Gaber-Myer can also vouch for my behavior as I was attempting to annoy Danielle and not attempting to steal. I am hoping for my suspension to be lifted, I do understand what I have done is inappropriate, but I do believe my expenses paid for Indy is a good punishment. I am prepared to go on probation in which if anything happens in a premier event with my name along with it I will be suspended forever from Upperdeck Entertainment regardless if its my fault or not.
