Words fail me at how appalling the death sentence is for so called blasphemy laws and I cannot even begin to imagine the suffering of the accused and their family. This barbaric behaviour sanctioned by the state has to stop. The accused and family are in my prayers.

The UK pays just shy of £800,000 a day in 'aid' to this Commonwealth State in expectation that it will be used to uplift downtrodden minorities such as Zafar Bhatti. The continuance of thee blasphemy laws, which are in direct contravention of Jinna's original constitution, are a source of shame to all right-minded peoples both within Pakistan and across the Commonwealth.
