For anyone who is not familiar with the case of Mulik Sheets. I can give a little back ground.

In 2008 Mulik went to court and was wrongfully convicted of the 2005 aggravated assault, criminal property damage, and burglary. Mulik was represented by a public defender and was informed not to defend himself by taking the stand. There was no eye witness to the case only a person 15 years old who claimed to have heard Mulik Sheets in the home at the time of the crime. Mulik Sheets was sentenced 23 yearsin prison for a crime he did not even commit. Other evidence of a woman who actually saw the perpetrator was never introduced in court. We have secured a affidavit from the witness stating that she saw a man in his late 30's early 40's, this is particularly important because at the time Mulik was 22 years of age.This witness did a police report and was never called to court during the trial.During the incarceration another person has admitted to committing the crimes that Mulik is accused of but he will not come forward to authorities.

Mulik has been imprisoned for a crime he did not even commit for over 6 years and he should be granted relief. We may not have the money to get a lawyer but we do have a voice to get JUSTICE for Mulik.
