I am a family friend and business professional familiar with the unjust that has befallen William E Piers. At the very least the constitution of the United States guarantees every citizen the right to a proper and fair review and trial of all of the facts in a case. William's case needs to be reviewed without bias, without prior judgement and with impartiality.

William did not do what he is accused of. There are NO prints of his on the weapon he is accused of using! There are other people's prints, but he has not been allowed a d.n.a. test, no defense. He was just recovering from an operation, he had no record as others did, no 'street experience' & FBI admits one may hv, walked away from scene. He was Not id'd as perp., He lived/s his life helping others. He courageously, for fifteen 15 hurtful/horror years, waits for just one person in Power to hear his case without hateful prejudice, seeing the bad job done to imprison him;see William as the person he was/is: experienced E.M.T., Builder, Artist, Computer guy, work experience, an Honorable person who contributes daily to society with consistent effort in the challenge of Federal Prison. We ask for his freedom. He has excellent Family, job, societal support.. He has cared for people all his life, saving life's, not ever hurting anyone. He is a remarkable Peron of value.

Now, 15 years-fifteen years of hurtfilled horrors of prison. William E. Piers was NOTread MIRANDA RIGHTs, no witnesses called, no defense, told by fired, but forced on him Lawyer that it was a "done deal", court Not allow him to talk, no witnesses called, NO DNA or PRINTS of Piers, NO Plea bargain offered, U.S. Constitution not upheld, court rules ignored. A prejudice Judge saying; 'I could help you, but I won't", INFLUENCING all other Judges thereafter., etc.,etc.!!

At the trial, police testimony clearly indicated that William did not do what the courts have sentenced him to 60 years in prison for. What kind of justice system does that?

The United States justice system has failed to protect William and in so doing has failed us all. Our society is a much sicker culture for the pain and suffering that William endures daily.
