I travel so much and I have had the pleasure of being on a plane with members of the United States military, all branches. Due to my status on many airlines I am frequently upgraded. On one of my flights there was a young marine returning home, the flight was overbooked so they upgraded him to first class. He was so grateful. He was sitting next to me and kept saying "WOW, this is amazing!" I never really took the time to appreciate it. Now if I see someone from the military on my flight I give them my upgrade. Its the least I can do for what they do for us! Why don't airlines make a policy that they are the FIRST to be upgraded to first class. They deserve so much more for serving our county but this is a wonderful gesture. Support our troops!
