For our GCSE Citizenship course, we have to design a campaign to make people in our local community aware of political prisoners. During our research we found a particular political prisoner called Tun Aung, who is currently being held in Burma. He is 65 years old and is being denied any medical treatment even though he has a pituitary tumor and needs regular treatment.Tun Aung is being kept in a small prison cell with no sanitation and ventilation, and is not allowed to be visited by his family.
