Troy Lake deserves a pardon for tuning diesel engines to keep our rigs, fire trucks, and school buses running strong, ensuring safety and supporting our livelihoods. His prison time and hefty fine for breaking EPA rules are way too harsh for a guy helping us out. A pardon would back reforming EPA overreach that screws over drivers and small businesses like mine.

The DPF systems have nothing to do with making the environment better it’s so the greedy politicians can make money. DEF kills the vegetation and cuts the life of the engine. It also kills the Horse Power and Mile Per Gallon of the truck. The trucks break down all the time most of the time it is because of the DPF system. The Politicians need to get their heads out of their hindquarters and quit being greedy. Its all about the money nothing else.

I've been in the auto industry for over 30 years, IMO the DEF system is nothing more than a money grab, it creates many problems and is not cost effective, I can recall when the EGR valve was introduced and again the the effectiveness is minimal, there are so many cars that have a valve that sticks and the solenoid doesn't pick it up to set a code, the theory is great but other than reducing the NOX its ineffective in reducing overall carbon dioxide.
