Dear Mayor London Breed and Muni directors, we ask for you to make transformation free. We would want this done by January 15th, 2224. We believe that by this time we should have less air pollution.

I’ve noticed this is a problem because we use cars every single day. Everybody already uses their cars, but some people use it for everything. Like if they could minimize the use of using their cars for the smallest things they should for example they have to do something that’s 15 minutes away from their house they could walk there or ride their bikes. Right now in some areas the air pollution is at 51 to 100 which is considered moderate which is in yellow . There’s some part in California where it's at 0 to 50 which is considered to be good. But our city is in the yellow section

Air pollution is a major problem because we breathe that air. We may not feel that but slowly we start getting sick because we air breathing all those chemicals. By breathing all those chemicals we could develop illnesses . We should also get cleaner air because we deserve it.


According to the documentary “There’s Something In The Water,” produced by actor Elliot Page, “Many colored communities that get placed near landfills develop lung cancer and die off it,” this is a major problem because people aren’t talking about it. They aren’t talking about the fact that people of color are getting sick over air pollution- even in large cities like San Francisco.

If the mayor and the Muni directors do make transportation free then more people will stop using their cars then less pollution will happen. It is important that less air pollution happens because then we have healthy air. If this happens it would show that we value healthy air and we couldn't develop any lung illness. This is why we ask that Mayor Breed and the Muni directors do make transformation free, if they care about the citizens like they claim they do.
