My nephew, a Desert Storm veteran & family man, who does not have a record & has never been in trouble, arrived at the time the gunfire started. Before turning off his engine he was shot. He was taken to the hospital to get stitched up but then taken to jail with the BULLET STILL IN HIS CHEST. He is on heart medications but was DENIED ACCESS TO HIS MEDS for over a week. He was NOT INVOLVED in whatever prompted this but is still in jail. There are many others who were not involved yet were arrested & are still in jail. This injustice is causing me to lose my faith in this country as it is with many others. I hope that this situation is investigated and the innocent be let go. Many will, or have already, lost their jobs. As a result, many will lose their homes. Those without any criminal record have now lost their reputation. How much more damage has to happen before someone with the power to help does something about this? I can't believe this is America and the country I love.
