Seems like anyone could have been locked up just for being there. The cops have something to hide

This is a ridiculous miscarriage of justice perpetuated by a group of law enforcement with an agenda and the ridiculous media coverage.

Just because crimes were committed doesn't make the innocent people involved interdependent in the doings of the men who maliciously attacked them. A lot of people were just defending themselves or simply caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. That doesn't mean they should pay the consequences for the actions of those who intended to hurt them. "Guilty by association" is a farce. Either they committed the crime or they didn't. Those who intend to "send a message" to the public by keeping these innocent men in jail are fundamentally flawed in their reasoning. The majority of those men didn't intend the events that occurred. They were victims. And the only message that the county is sending is that the actions of the judicial system involved reflects their own laziness and inhumane reasoning. What is a justice system without some egalitarianism? If this had been a golf tournament would that many people be in jail right now? 170 cases seems to imply the antithesis of "justice" or any form of empathy involved in the dealings with people's inalienable human rights.

Regardless of what Hype has been given, there is No Way that everyone they arrested were involved in a crime. Not answering questions if you are arrested is not a crime, but rather exercising your 5th Amendment right.

This whole thing is a ridiculous travesty of justice. Waco pd should all be fired and held accountable for their actions and possibly even tried for murder. Governor Abbott we beg you to look closely at this case and do the right thing.
