I am deeply concerned about this situation. It is very frightening that you can be riding along and stop for a meal and someone you don't know starts shooting and now because you are a biker and you are there your freedom and your financial security are stolen from you. These gatherings occur all over Texas for many reasons. Some for discussion of politics, some for charity, some just for fun and to socialize. There are many clubs and many independent bikers who attend. These are good people and this is not at all understood by the "powers that be" living in a bubble" in Waco Texas. They are either exploiting this situation as a means to further their careers or they just need to get out of their job, their church and their country club and see how Americans really live. Blue collar workers, teachers, medical workers, small business owners, housewives, office workers. policemen, firemen, and ex-military all ride motorcycles. Riding bikes, drinking alcohol and dancing are not illegal and the Baptists in Waco do not decide how the rest of America lives. I do not own a handgun, do not have a carry/conceal permit but it is legal to do so. If I were carrying a legally registered firearm and some kind of violence broke out in my vicinity I would like to think I had the right to defend myself and not become a target for the police because I pulled out my legally registered and carried firearm. The police are refusing to say how many bikers were killed by police. They are refusing to how many officers fired their weapons, how many shots they fired, who they were aiming at or why? Cover up and politics in Texas and civil rights violations abound.

This hold for 90 days law with high bond before a person is even indicted is unjust and unfair! Laws need to be changed. If you take the time to sign this petition then please also contact your congressional representatives to express your desire to change this law.

I have family that are among these clubs. They are good people who always do fund raisers and we are so family oriented. They don't deserve being locked up behind one or two bad apples.

Traveled the country and met and rode with many motorcycle club members. Every piece of society has a bad egg in their ranks including the police who have been in the press more then motorcyclists for bad behavior. These men and women do not deserve to be treated as second rate citizens.. I believe that this was a way to get the media off the police backs for the injustice of a few law officers that were just as bad.

If you understand what a biker is, you wouldn't have this problem. They do more benefits for children, breast cancer, animsls, etc. So please get your education on a biker before you watch Hollywood!

No all bikers are bad. I have known millions that have had fundraiser for a cancer patient are a family in need. They have the toy runs for Christmas. And they ate kind and have huge hearts. We buried my ex husband 6 years ago with cancer, and he was a biker with tattoos and piercings. The chapel was full to capacity and you could not see the grass for all the bikers of all organization. I was proud to say that is the father of my two wonderful kids. Do not judge people by what they look like are what they drive are ride.

I wish people would learn the difference between gangs and clubs. My four year old knows the difference, I have taught all my kids even my step kids that members of motorcycle clubs do way more good than most regular citizens, myself included. When you learn the difference you'll understand why I say I would leave my children with any member of the BOTW CLUB from up here. I've seen the clubs around here go above and beyond to help out. Please learn the differnce before judging you are teaching kids the wrong way to look at people I want my kids to Learn not to read a book by it's cover but to get to know the person first.

When Americans can be shot and/or arrested based on nothing more than the clothing they are wearing -- which is exactly what the "probable cause" affidavit herein allowed -- we are living in a police state.
