This established and reputable merchant followed all laws and filled out all paperwork. Punishing them for the hiccup in Custom’s workflow that only caught the clerical error by their supplier after the fact, and only then because of Mei Leaf’s excellent paperwork? Well it frankly makes it seem as if Customs office is attacking them out of embarrassment. And makes Customs the subject of suspicion by we customers, who have been joking grimly on social media about your plans to ‘destroy’ this valuable tea with milk and sugar.

Way too much effort goes into making tea, especially good quality tea like the ones you have right now. So it would be such a shame to destroy these over a small error.

Give mei leaf back their tea. We all wanna drink somr good tea. Customs should just break out 1 cake and have don brew them in front of them. So they know how bad their bloody milk tea and teabags suck.
