I think any sensible analysis of this appeal and the history of this will have to conclude this is a simple clerical error, and release these goods.

Dear UK border patrol.
I do think a bit of pragmatism is in order. I am one of the people who get Mei Leaf Tea shipped to Norway after they so generously travel the world and source it and bring it to the UK, and I think that someone, somewhere, failing to fill the right paperwork, should not be cause to a large monetary loss for a business.
Take the doctors, and surgeons, at the hospitalbin to consideration.
A Doctor may one day slip and cross the wrong checkmark on the paperwork, and the patient, anesthesized, may be very happy, knowing that the surgeon doesn't just take the paperwork at face value, but considers the fact that since the patient has two seemingly functioning legs, and the papers state that he has a nail in his left leg, that the doctor may have erroniously checked the amputate box on the form, instead of the excavate mark.
Just a thought.

Not sure why they are holding this tea captive, but this is ridiculous. Free the tea and let us enjoy the good things in life. Tell customs to get off their prude bottoms and do the right thing here. It doesn't take that much effort.

It would be a shame to destroy this precious tea.
Obviously it was a mistake to mention the tea in the documents, a mistake that could happen anytime.
It was not on purpose and a huge tea community would highly appreciate it if you could show some mercy and release the tea so people can enjoy this amazing and delicious Puh Er.
Thank you.

Bureaucratic errors should not prevent safe things from entering through official ports of entry. A good faith mistake should be occasionally accommodated so long as the privilege is not abused. Please allow entry of this fine tea. Thank you.

Please #freethetea - Don & Celine and everyone at Meileaf are the most passionate and wonderful of tea sourcers and they are 100% spick and span when it comes to doing things right and to their honest convictions and high standards. It's unfortunate and a human error that the bill of Loading was mistakenly filled out. As a customer of this great company and having also met both Don & Celine and their crew in Camden, I am 100% convinced that there is no dark intensions anywhere.
Please exercise true sovereignty: grace and just leniency are the shining jewels of responsible authority.
Please do not punish these good people and the many innocent tea lovers around the world by destroying the tea for the error on one piece of paperwork (although all other pieces were correctly filled out). It was clearly a human omission by mistake, and not an intensional trick.
Thank you in advance for exercising human judgement, understanding, and leniency in this case. It would be a great pity to destroy something that's only meant to bring happiness.
Thank you and please #freethetea.
