Pls free fig dipper. There is a difference between malice or ill intent as compare to a genuine clerical error. The border control should be experienced enough to handle such case.

Hello! I am not a UK constituent, but I hope that you will consider my request to release the Mei Leaf goods being held, as it is important to me. I am one of larger community that looks forward to the teas and teaware that Mei Leaf provides us. One of the teas in particular that is being held is of a favourite type. I look forward to purchasing it and would be very disappointed if it were never made available. Thank you for your consideration. Stella Johannes

Obviously this was an oversight with no intent to deceive. Common-sense should be applied.

This is just ridiculous! An honest mistake was made and there is no reason for this.

If we are going to promote Anglo Chinese trade post brexit, it's essential that petty admin mistakes in a bill of lading don't result in losses to genuine businesses at either end of the transaction. Plus, I really want to drink this tea. It would be a crime for HMRC to destroy such a valuable commodity. It would deprive both importer and exporter of the income due from their labour and efforts, and it would deprive me of delicious and rare tea. A decision to destroy the tea will reduce happiness in the world. A decision to free the tea will increase happiness in the world.

Please don't destroy this tea because of a simple error. It's also not just the tea that would be wasted but all the resources used in growing, preparing and shipping!

Please allow the tea to pass through! It would be such a waste to destroy it.
