I believe that WIAA is restricting our freedom of speech. These chants and cheers have been a part of sporting events since before any of us were in high school. They are a part of high school sporting culture, and if a team can't take some chants directed towards them, then maybe they shouldn't be playing.

The WIAA rules are unusually restrictive. Unless a phrase is offensive, derogatory or incites others to violence, it should not be banned. Many of the currently banned phrases do not fall into any of those categories. Please re-consider this restriction of speech.

STOP the Madness!! "Airball" is inappropriate? What is this world coming to? Nothing is derogatory or racist, It is what keeps rivalry's alive. This is going to drive students to not want to go to games, in turn them doing other things that may be wrong. "AIRBALL"....Poor me, poor me....No! Kids need to learn to have thick skin, not be a bunch of wussies. I hope things change by the time my kids get to Prescott Schools and I hope Prescott sees the light and not pacify everything.

I can't believe what this society has come to...b happy the kids fan base is there and not out doing drugs and killing people, let them chant and have fun! If ur kids feelings get hurt on the court....they SHOULDN'T B ON IT#

I think we need to raise our children to handle a little pressure, otherwise they will fail in the real world. Seriously, I find this as useful as giving participation awards.
Those chants are perfectly fine in my opinion!
