HSC should allow them to finish the season with the hats they've already been wearing and then have next years team use campus store hats. The guys have already purchased these hats and have worn them for games it would be a waste of their money to force them to do otherwise.

As a grad and a peer of a group of championship winning slo-pitch players, it would be a shame to see the boys play without hats - at least until the campus store can get their own stock. It's a sunny diamond and a team tradition.

For years the team has turned to lids due to a lack of school support and resources. This lack of organization has led the boys to look elsewhere. The school should be on time if they are to supply uniforms.

I support the "T"! I think that as a team you should be able to wear this giving that every member wear the same item. I understand that the school doesn't support this because it lacks the "HSC Athletics" crest. However, I also believe that because the campus store could not provide what you needed and you probably purchased these at a far lower price than you would've been charged at the campus store that outsourcing in this case is okay. You have no choice but to get the rest of your gear there, so I don't see any issue for having purchased an item of team gear outside of this considering the school will still make a profit off the team! That being said maybe you can help out future generations of the HSC slo-pitch team by ensuring that the campus store can provide hats as part of your team uniform right from the start! Go Trojans...
