Manitowoc Police should be ashamed. Disgusting to think this is allowed to go on in a country like the US. Give them a retrial!

Let these innocent men go. The police should be punished for ruining the lives of innocent people.

Shameful Why don't the Halbach family see? What are they being told to close their minds? Someone got away with murder and probably couldn't believe hoe easy it was

The convinction of Steven Avery and Brendan Dassy is a horrific miscarriage of justice. It is shameful that they are serving time for a crime they did not commit.

Every weakness of the criminal justice system seems to have come together (and failed at approaching the truth) in these related cases. Brendan (with an obvious intellectual disability) in his interviews is not the most blatant example but clearly shows a desire of investigators to build a case (against a presumed perpetrator) rather than pursuing the truth. Brendan is clearly not understanding the circumstances he is in (much less the consequences of his statements) in both initial and follow-up interviews. The detectives are blatantly using his disability and confusion to lead him to state things that he is obviously not truly recalling. It is clear in the videos that the officers use (prey on) Brendan's intellectual disability and his clear desire to please his interrogator's to lead him to state things they want want him to state rather than recall the truth. They make no attempt to get to the truth.

The obvious wrongful accusations and sentences of Steven and Bredan is disturbing, heartbreaking, infuriating and frightening. It's very difficult for me to trust the Justice system now. Please right this wrong.
