The arrested elites of Sidama are innocent. Putting aside its responsibility to answer the constitutional quest of Sidama for being statehood, it has labelled our activists and elites as criminals. This is an illegal. And they must be released unconditionally!

We demand an immediate release of the over 700 Sidama youth incarcerated and being tortured in Hawassa Town Capital of Sidama and other districts. We need the exact date of referendum. the delay of expressing the date of referendum show us that the government is preparing itself to re-wage war against our people.

The gov of Dr. Abiy put the innocent Sidama people human right fighter in prison . This all total so odd . And the prime minster Dr. Abiy without his a Parliamentary agenda & without thinking directly ordered the war for the innocent Sidama people . This all about legal constitutional state hood /self administration/ question . By this very unique question he killed handers ,wounded and put in prison thousands . Today the Sidama people thinking even the are not the people of Ethiopia , b/s they love Ethiopia so much and contributing for 29% Cash crops to get currency exchange .All the leaders Ethiopia just want to use advantage from Sidama but never want to respect them constitutional questions . So that many leaders of Ethiopia include Abiy they killed many Sidama people . Even they killing the people never stop fighting their constitutional rights. Right naw soon all Sidama people want to realizes our innocent people from prison . This is the shame of Dr. Abiy. They nothing do any crime . Must the government realize soon.
