There is an evil institution that exists in our world known as the College Board. This "non-profit" exploits education for its own personal gain, which in my opinion is simply despicable. I can get having to pay to take the test. I can get that they have employees to pay. I can get that any business needs to have income to operate. What i cannot get on board with is that they are making millions of dollars off of sending the SAT scores to colleges on the behalf of students. IT COST NOTHING!!! ALL THEY HAVE TO DO IS CLICK A BUTTON TO GET THE SCORES SENT TO A SCHOOL!!! It is absolutely ridiculous that they charge more than $10 to send an electronic copy of something that contains approximately 15 lines of text. The average college applicant sends out about 10-13 applications, and there are a hell of a lot of college applications every year. Do the math people. The College Board has monopolized this industry, and are therefore able to charge whatever they want for these standard services.

Sign this petition to let the College Board know that we will not stand for their exploitation of us. Together, we can take a small step in the right direction, by making it a law that all standardized testing scores that are requested by college applications be placed in a public database. In this database, a college would only be allowed to access the information of an applicant, thereby ensuring that every taker of the test would have their privacy secured. Folks, there is no reason that a company meant to help students of all races, sexes, incomes, etc get into college should be grossing almost a BILLION dollars in revenue every year. Sign the petition, and help make college more achievable for students across the country.

JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE "NON-PROFIT" DOES NOT MEAN THEY SHOULDN'T BE REGULATED!!!
