Free Prada Basset - Return her to her Pack

I have 4 basset hounds at this time. 2 from 2 different breeders (2-1/2 wks. apart in age) and 2 rescued separately within the last few years. When taken to groomers they cry until reunited. They seem to need to see the other members of their pack. If one (or more) goes to the vet alone the others wait by the door for their return and have a 'celebration' when they come through the door.

They certainly don’t Gucci, watches Bentley every second of the day, she sleeps light so that if he gets up she knows about it and watches him until he comes back. She has taken the loss of Prada the hardest but she is so sensitive, as she can be emotional if she misses a hug in a day. Hopefully she will be more herself again once the packs back together.

I have owned 4 Bassets in my life and they are an unique bread. They must be in their pac to be healthy and happy !!!

Prada should be at home with the rest of her family. Basset hounds are pack animals and do not do well on their own. Prada started off with her pack and will be wondering what had happened. She may be suffering from anxiety issues or attachment issues. The law needs to be changed to make it illegal for dog napping. Dogs are not objects and their welfare and emotional needs and health need to be taken into consideration. So return Prada to her rightful owner and pack if you genuinely care for Prada and are not just using her to get at your ex.

Get that sweet baby home!!

With 3 bassets myself, I am fully aware of the pack life they live. To separate any pup from the pack they have known their whole life definitely does more harm to the pack and the pup. I could never separate any of my babies. Best of luck on reuniting them. ✌

I have a granddog Brantley that I love very much. We would never give him up or stop loving him. He is the biggest sweetest smartest dog ever. Prays have been sent constantly for Prada release.

I have owned bassets for going on 30 years. They are a pack dog, always doing their best when accompanied by a companion (even better if another basset). I have been a part of local basset rescue groups for well over 20yrs and I can attest that when we take in abused or unhealthy bassets they thrive when they are in a multi dog household. Hounds and dogs in general are pack animals by nature and they find their security and comfort and place in life in the pack.

Anyone who loves their dog, will do what is right for them. Clearly Prada belongs with her pack, and should be reunited ASAP. The ex who is holding on to Prada cannot, with a good conscience, look into Prada's eyes and say she is doing right by her. It's time to end the selfish games, and allow Prada to have the life she deserves with her pack.

Please bring Prada back to her pack and family where she belongs. Praying
