This is the second time that my ex partner has done this to the basset hound puppies. The first time holding on to Bentley on the 8th April but releasing him four hours later when she realised it was the right, correct and decent thing to do.

On the 28th of June 2021 @ 22:44 I quote a text from my ex partner currently holding the dog “They just don’t care I’ve never know a dog this horrible to have!”
Gucci was currently 6 and a half month old
Bentley was currently just 5 months old… they were puppies being puppies nothing more.

I believe that if a person purchases a dog, then said dog should be with the owner. The one that paid for the pup. Also, if said pup isn’t being taken care of, getting vet care, paid attention to, keep pup physically safe then said person shouldn’t have pup. Also, keeping a pup from its rightful owner is, in my opinion stealing said pup. If what is stated is true, then keeping pup from owner is being done to hurt owner, not because they necessarily want said pup. In my opinion, not much different than what some people do to children during a break up or divorce. It’s not doing what’s in the best interest of the pup or the child. It’s using said pup for selfish reasons.

Contact a lawyer and file a law suit. If everything about the dog is in your name it should be returned
