I got ticketed the first day of classes for the spring 2022 semester. The prices for parking is outrageous when it's hard to find parking on campus to begin with. I used to have to get on campus 30 minutes before class because it took 20 minutes to find parking and 10 minutes to walk to class. Tickets don't need to be necessarily free, but they definitely need to be cheaper.

We pay enough money to this school the least we could have is free parking. I did buy a parking pass for this semester and I don’t know why, not enough parking spots for me to even park anymore.

School parking should be free. I pay thousands of dollars for my education yet I am expected to pay hundreds for parking. Not to mention parking isn’t even guaranteed.

It’s hard enough to be able to afford classes, housing, meal plans, books, access codes for hw/quizzes, proctoring, gas to get to this school. Then I have to pay an additional $80-$160 for parking, and if I don’t I’ll have to pay additional fees for parking tickets? That’s absurd.

It's unfair that after all the bills we already have (tuition, fees, rent, meal plans) that we also have to pay to have our cars near our homes and classes. We have no choice but to use these parking lots, and the school is taking advantage.
