The parking lots and streets on campus are in awful condition. The money from student parking passes is not used to maintain the roads or lots. The university sells more parking tickets than there are spots available. Parking is wildly over priced, given the grand amount of excessive fees that students are already charged with outside of tuition. We already pay to attend this university, and should not be charged additional fees to physically access the university. Additionally, all parking lots should be all-access, regardless of location and commuter status.

A big part of why I don't give money to the school as an alumni is that they take every opportunity to squeeze money out of the students. From parking to textbooks, the university is making enough money and doesn't need my help. So stop sending me junk mail, and give everyone free parking.

Yes please !!! This would be amazing! Life is hard as a college student . It would make things so much easier on not having to add parking payment to the other stress I have going on in my life.!!!!

We pay so much tuition and it’s very inconvenient and such a financial burden to force a payment for parking. Not to mention if you are not from the city you have to pay tuition, you have to pay housing and parking

Please this pertition should be granted. It's unfair to impose such charges on students considering the very huge amount of expenses we re already passing through just for being students of TAMUCC!

I agree that as students and faculty members of TAMUCC, we should not pay fees for parking at the university. I understand that since there is not enough space for everyone to park, you are charging people. In that case, I think you should reduce the fees for students. It is indeed very pricey
