We, the undersigned, ask that President Obama will take action and change the North Korean government.

In North Korea, thousands ofcitizens are worked, starved, and tortured in political labor camps. The camps date back all the way to the end of the Korean War when people started to defect to South Korea. Most of the inhabitants of these harsh camps are innocent people who just happen to have relatives who opposed the North Korean government. These people are treated with cruelty and absolutely no respect or sympathy. Some of them are harassed or beaten to their deaths just because they stole a few kernels of corn. I want President Barack Obama to raise awareness of these cruel labor camps and take a stand to change the corrupted and wrongful thinking of the North Korean government.

Several ways we can raise awareness:

making groups to travel and talk about the cruelty of the camps (missionaries)creating awareness by advertising the camps on television, newspapers, etc.organizing events in communities to talk about the camps
