I too have experienced this with my own mother. Fortunately she is now out and receiving the proper medical care she so deserves. Good luck and I hope you are successful.

I read about the terrors other people and their families are subjected. I never thought it would happen to a member of my family.

She's paid her debt. She's learned her lesson. It serves no useful purpose to keep Melissa in prison when she can do so much good outside.

Melisa Schonfield should be freed; no one was harmed, she just used bad judgment. Prison is not the answer for bad judgment. It seemed more like entrapment.

I've known Alexis for many years and worked with her while at Treasure Island Elem Her mom was always very supportive especially during her pregnancy. Ihad the pleasure of meeting her family during the baby shower for Alexis. Being aware of Alexis situation before and after the birth of her son I'm sure her mom was trying to be very protective of her daughter and her grandson. Im sure this is a very difficult time for the family

To whom it may concern: I am writing this letter regarding Melisa Schonfield. I have known Melisa Schonfield for 30 years on a professional basis and a friendship basis. Melisa is one of the most inspirational people I have known for years. We both moved to the NNY area around the same time and we met one another through our children that were the same age. They played together almost everyday and we had many gatherings because of this. Not only did we develop a wonderful friendship but she was the 1st person I had ever met to want to give back to the community through means of developing a volunteering bank for the local school that our children attended. She was extremely innovating when it came to creating various fund raisers that were always successful. We also became Brownie leaders in the school which helped the young girls develop excellent ethics and community helpers. I was indeed shocked when I learned of why she ended up going to jail which was truly beyond her character and want to re-iterate that she is not a dangerous person to society and should be granted early release so she can give back to the community as she always has. If anything we need more people in the world such as Melisa as she truly is a warm, kind, generous and caring person. Please do not hesitate to contact me for further information. Conditions in prison are unspeakably horrible, and no one should be subjected to them, especially food and medical care. Melisa has suffered a great deal already. Let her come home to her family!

Please release this woman!! She is in ill health and will not survive in the prison.

Everybody makes mistakes. She should be freed so she can contribute to society not be isolated from society
