what's wrong here in Florida? this is not the first case that happens in this state of a vicious act against an innocent dog. Please invest the county's money in chasing real life thugs.

I follow these stories as 8 years ago my Stnd Schnauzer was taken in by Pinellas Cy, Fl Animal Control for biting my husband's grand daughter, non severely, and she was baiting the dog. Her mother declared our dog dangerous and we spent 2 months with him incarcerated, $15,000 in legal bills and an 8 hr. hearing to get our dog back. Our dog was traumatized and beaten while in jail and has never been the same. W e were only allowed to visit him for 10 mins a couple of times a week and he got very ill while in te shelter so our vet had to take him and board him to heal him. These county shelters are a nightmare and they listen to all sorts of uneducated and sick people and believe them iver the dog's family.

FREE MARLEY sounds like another Free Padi case. Totally groundless and nosey neighbor should mind his/her own business. Marley didn't know any better. He thought he was protecting one of his humans. There are enough animals being killed daily unnecessarily by monsters masquerading as people. Marley is lucky enough to have people who love him. FREE MARLEY!

This was obviously a NORMAL reaction of a dog trying to protect and the OWNERS who were also the ones that were involved in the bite are requesting their dog back. STAY OUT OF IT! They love the dog and want it back! This dog didn't do anything wrong, doesn't deserve to be euthanized - I have worked in animal control before and this is horrifying to do this when it is considered a "provoked bite" though unintentional by the children.

I don't see how a neighbor or animal control agency have any right to your family's affairs. Good luck!

Animal Control Agencies in Florida apparently are intent on ridding the state of dogs. With the passage of the new Padi's Law, I hope that Marley will be allowed to go home where he belongs.

Let Marley go home. This dog is not a bad boy. He only did want he thought was and attack on his family. All Florida wants to do is kill dogs in this State. Give Marley back to his family please.
