Bay County Animal Control should be ashamed of themselves. Listening to a nosy neighbor instead of the family that own the dog. It's time for someone in Bay County to get rid of the people who are in charge of this animal control agency. Obviously they have no understanding of dogs. This is the type of dog people want to protect their children!

This whole thing is such a shameful waste of time and resources! Bay County, you are actually trying to KILL an innocent, loving dog who didn't even hurt anyone? This dog was just doing what is natural for a dog to do -- protect his pack. The 15 year old was not even hurt in the slightest way, for God's sake! This agency should be shut down for its blatant disregard for the lives and happiness of animals and their humans. This agency needs to be replaced with one that is actually concerned for the safety and lives of animals and their human companions. The Bay County Animal Control Agency just seems to be maliciously pursuing the death penalty for this sweet dog. It's unfathomable that one of our veterans, who was overseas protecting us, now has to suffer this terrible treatment from his own country. Bring Marley home to his family and stop wasting time and money!

Bay County, you should be ashamed of yourselves for wasting resources and trying your best to ruin a family's life by taking their beloved dog away. He was doing what dogs do best - protecting his pack. It was a simple misunderstanding, and you have no right to take him away for it! NO-ONE WAS EVEN HURT! Give Marley back, and we must re-consider laws and change them, when they are used in this malicious way against a GOOD DOG.

This is a terrible miscarriage of justice. This beautiful dog was only acting based on his prior life's experiences and acting as a protective force on behalf of a smaller, more vulnerable child. He should not be punished for behaving as a normal, loyal and devoted member of the family. He should be allowed to continue to live out the rest of his days in a loving environment. He has earned it!

This is clearly not a vicious dog. It sounds like the dog got confused, felt threatened and overreacted. Marley can be trained like any other dog, most of whom will bite or nip under certain circumstances unless trained to break that response to such circumstances. Please do not euthanize a good friend; at least return him to his family with the condition that they and the dog attend professional training for the problem.
