if the 15yr old knows the dog is protective, why would he wear a mask, he is old enough to know better, and its his fault not the dogs

The is ridiculous ! The dog nipped at someone which happened to be one of the children in the family who happened to have a mask on. this dog did nothing wrong.

Marley was trained to protect, so he shouldn't be punished for protecting a 5 year old boy, he wasn't trying to hurt anyone, he was just doing what he was trained to do.

When my children were little, the younger actually taught our dog to nip at his butt. It became a challenge among the neighborhood kids to see who else could be bit in the butt. Leave Marley alone and tell the neighbor to keep her nose in her own yard.
