Dogs and dog "bites" should NOT have a blanket "law" , Each incident should be judged on account of what the situation was. FREE MARLEY to his family.

I thank God that I don't live in Florida! It's shameful how often you people advocate killing family pets.

If this had been a stranger hurting the 5 yr old, the dog would be a hero! Get over yourselves, the dog was doing what dogs should do.

Please let Marley go home to his humans. He was doing what dogs do.... protecting his person....he wasn't being vicious and doesn't deserve a life sentence!

What business was it of the neighbors...if she knew the family and saw the kids playing she should have kept her mouth shut.

Marley acted on perceived threats. he did not bite the child but merely nipped him to say the child had gone to far. Sure it would be nice if he could have said something in English but the child went to fare and Marley was merely letting him know that; if he had wanted to hurt him he could have but he didn't. People do so much worse and sometimes get nothing or minimal punishment. All Marley di was send a message in the only way he knew how. You are going to kill a dog-not merely nip him-but kill him . how is that justifiable? Marley needs to go home and the child needs to know that dogs have limits.

This is ridiculous, really? This dog was playing with the kids. Please free him now. I didn't realize Bay County would overreact like some other places in this country. This dog has come a long way to be in this country with a soldier who rescued him. He deserves to be home with people who love him.

The facts in this case make it VERY clear that this dog is being wrongly punished!

Praying that the imprisonment and threat of euthanasia of Marley ends with his release and that all charges are dropped
