Haven't had the pleasure to fly there yet, but have been meaning to come down from Tennessee for a few years now. The pics I've seen show what a beautiful site it is.

Please continue to allow paragliding from Bell Mountain. As a resident of Forsyth County, just north of Atlanta, this is one of the most convenient locations for me to fly. I love coming Haiwassee to enjoy the beauty that Bell has to offer.

Bell Mtn. has been the primary sight that I use to enjoy Northeast Georgia from the air. As a resident of Hart County, Bell is the closest and most accessible paragliding site for me. It's possible to make the trip up to Hiawassee, enjoy paragliding, have a fantastic meal and refreshments in town, and be back home at a reasonable hour to be ready for work the next morning.
It's a real blessing to have the recreational outlet and the flying oportunities that Bell provides, and it would be a real shame if that went away.
Through our membership with Southern Parapilots and our training and licensing with USHPA, Georgia paragliding enthusiasts take responsible flying and proper risk assessment seriously.
Please keep this site open to provide responsible guests and residents of Northeast Georgia such an inspiring, fulfilling, and inclusive recreation opportunity.

I remember when Mr. Herron would to come up and watch us all paraglide at his site. He really loved us as a group supported and the sport of paragliding. I hope we can continue to support his and his families wishes.

This is such a wonderful site for the sport. It is one of the most picturesque place in the southeast and is a great place for the public to be exposed to the joys of free flight. I know many pilots that would not be able to fly nearly as much if Bell was shut down. Please keep this site available for us to use in a responsible and respectful way!

Please keep Bell mountain available for paragliding. Bell mountain has the most spectacular view of any flying site around.

There are precious few sites in the country and this is one of only two in Georgia. Please allow us to continue to fly this beautiful site.

Historically we are a frequent user of this place, even before it was made a park. Please consider all user groups as viable and worthy.
