My family and I have travelled from Western US several times to SE USA and always try to visit Bell to enjoy some paragliding when we are visiting. Compared to many sites out West it is very safe and friendly site with easy access. It would be a real shame to see it go.

I've been planning a trip to Bell mountain to watch a friend free fly and enjoy the nearby attractions for some time. I'd still like to have the chance to visit. Please consider the broader impact in closing this resource.

Beautiful site. Let's not let the paranoia of "safety at any cost" get in the way of life and experience. Risk must be assessed, mitigated and accepted appropriately... blocking use to a site where someone MIGHT get injured would require cordoning off 99% of the planet...

Please, please keep our flying site open. Flying is so much more than just a sport. It is the epitome of freedom and the beauty of nature. If we do not actively preserve our flying sites, then it is only a matter of time before they all close one by one.

This is a fantastic flying site, that attracts many pilots from across the globe. Closing this site would be huge loss for the free flight community and the towns county community alike.
