There is no words to express the sadness that this case brought to my heart. We have a great justice system, however we continue to find people who abuse of their power.

I watched the documentary and Evaristo Salas Is Innocent and has been wrongfully accused and set up.. He has spent his entire childhood in prison due to falsified non credible evidence, with the now drug free Informant admitting to lying and also passing the lie detector test which stated his claims were true to being paid on several occasions by the same cop who arrested and blatantly falsely accused an innocent child now man. I sign this petition because i believe this man Is Innocent and pray the Courts release him now, TODAY 4/19/2020.... To whom it may concern:
When I saw the documentary "Wrong Man" about Evaristo, I knew how unfair it is that an innocent man is behind bars for over 24 yrs. already. He was just a child when he was sent to prison for something that was based on a lie. Everyone sees it and the whole world knows it. Please give this man a fair trial. The U.S.A. is the land of freedom. I would like to see freedom for this American citizen.

There is evidence enough to cast doubt on the original investigation. For him to remain in prison is a travesty and undermines the whole American Justice system. Do the right thing and give him a fresh trial.
