They have the wrong man. One of the main two witnesses has recanted (in a heartfelt and clear manner). Cases of this type deserve fast-tracking.

I can't believe how much wrong & deception was done in this case! Even the lack of evidence presented to sentence a BABY to prison! The wife/gf definitely should have been investigated. I mean who erases a crime scene of there loved one days later when mourning should be only thing happening, unless your covering up evidence against ones self or someone they care for, right?!?!? I know perfectly well it's very broadcasted via the police department you are not getting property back untill it's released via police or courts...I can't believe tow place would be so flimsy that police worked with to utilize! I'm still waiting now six years to retrieve evidence I turned in for a crime because the felon had to be time served before this county will release the property back to me (it's electronics) but a vehicle now you know they have to process it unless you've been living under a rock your fully aware of crime tape & crime scene investigation before letting ppl cause any contamination! That county failed, the cop/detective failed, tow company failed everyone failed Evaristo Junior Salas (was just a kid)! I sure hope he gets released & never has to want or worry for anything else because this man *deserves* that after the suffering that's been caused by the town failures of the adults surrounding him that were supposed to be a community of protectors for children!

With all the evidence provided and the lie detector showing the detectives paid the informant to lie should open up peoples eyes and heart. This poor man lost half of his life locked up for a crime he did not commit, free Mr. Salas! You should open up the case and investigate the girlfriend, the sounds of it she knew Ricardo by his name for people to have heard her yell his name before her boyfriend was killed. Coincidence? I think not...

I believe this man to be innocent and to be the victim of unlawful actions by the Sunnyside Police Dept. In addition he should have been tried as a child not an adult and is victim of not obtaining due process.

Free Salas! How can you people sleep at night knowing you have an INNOCENT man in your custody is absolutely disgusting and a tragedy by the corrupt justice system in Sunnyside, Washington. The best thing to do at this point is to have some dignity for your police department and the justice system after sending an innocent CHILD to prison. Remember, what goes around comes around and KARMA always comes to get you.

After watching season 1 of the The Wrong Man I do believe Sala’s is innocent, however the one question I didn’t see answered was why did Det. Rivard compelled to put the murder on Sala’s? What debt did he have to the person who thanked Rivard for getting him off the case? Those are just a few of the questions I will research after seeing the case in The Wrong Man. The fact that Sala’s is still not out of prison is absolutely disgusting.

This is such a miscarriage of justice. It hurts my heart that this corruption goes on. Nobody should have to go through this. May justice finally prevail. Godspeed
