I watched the documentary and it is quite evident that a new discovery trial review is in order. The detective has impeached himself.

This man is innocent Any one watching the wrong man documentary can see that the truth has finally been found. It will never give Evaristo all those years of his life back, and for that those who lied, who were supposed to protect the public and tell the truth, they should hold their heads in shame at the injustice they have perpetrated and be held to account.

It's obvious to a 5th grader, one of my grandchildren that a new trial needs to be held immediately! The Covid19 is not an excuse to put this off any longer. I'm not looking to put a bad or weak cop in jail, I'm looking for justice for a man who was jailed as a child for a murder HE DID NOT COMMIT! GO After the girlfriend.

I’m unsure of how Ofelia and Detective Rivard have been able to live with putting an innocent child in prison.
I watched Wrong Man and was impressed with the investigation yet heart broken to learn Jr. is still behind bars.

I recently watched the documentary on this case and it’s clear that Junior was railroaded. He is innocent of this crime and Detective Rivard should be brought up on charges for paying a witness, intimidating a witness and flat out lying to get him convicted. He’s an awful human being and I don’t know how he can sleep at night, much less claim to be a good person that was “always fair”. He was supposedly an officer whose job it was to uphold the law, not make up lies due to his personal feelings about an individual. He, the police department that employed him, the state he resides in, his family and his friends should be ashamed of his behavior as a person and a so called prior officer of the law. I hope he gets what’s coming to him and has to spend what’s left of his life in jail where he belongs. The American people are either losing or have lost just about all faith in the people that have been chosen to protect and serve us. It’s ridiculous what is allowed to go on and it’s a sad state to be in. If we can’t trust the people appointed to protect and serve us as a people, who can we trust? #FREE JUNIOR SALAS

Evaristo Salas, Jr. was convicted and put into prison based on deliberate lies manufactured by the police. He was a child who has now served over half his life for something he did not do.
It is past time for his sentence to be commuted. He must be released.

I wholeheartedly support Evaristo's release IMMEDIATELY. The documented new evidence I just now witnessed in the documentary "Wrong Man" is blatantly obvious Evaristo was wrongly convicted & brutally betrayed by people who are paid to protect & serve their community.
Det. Revard clearly set Avaristo up for the murder of Jose A.
Ofelia is complicent and both she and Rivard MUST be held accountable for their lies. She knew Ricardo was the true murderer!
She destroyed evidence by cleaning the truck & destroying critical evidence of Jose's murder.
Avaristo MUST be cleared of ALL charges and financially compensated for the years Rivard,, Ofelia and Ricardo knowingly stole from Avaristo.
Justice???? Not even close!!!
