Based on the new evidence, Mr. Salas should be released immediately until a fair revisit of the case can be executed. I am extremely disheartened by the work the criminal justice system did in Mr Salas' case when he was only 14 years old. I pray that in light of this new evidence, justice will truly be served. How can the be so uncooperative in solving a case for a man ”she loved”. She knows the murderer ”Ricardo” and she needs to charged with interfering and the murder!

I have recently just learned this case on tv and Google. I believe that ofelia is not innocent I feel that she knows way more about this case than what she claims I feel like she has been guilty all this time. I also feel that the cop who lied needs to be charged whether he is retired or not. The case needs to be dropped. Let junior go and pay him for his pain and suffering. I'm so glad junior was able to find a lady and get married and now has a child on the way. Own up to ur wrong doings pay this man and give him his innocents back! Praying for u and ur family! Hugs!

At the bare minimum he deserves a speedy new trial. Everyone should have to take lie detector tests this is a total miscarriage of justice. Even his age at the time of his conviction was a crime inside itself.

This is complete injustice and this man needs to be FREE 24 yrs ago. How dare he still sit in Prison. How Dare our Justice System spit in the faces of our Children, Fathers, Mothers and there is Zero excuse of why he is not out. Covid does not spread through Pen Paper to sign or Close Circuit TV. Release him now we demand this.
