This case is very unfortunate for everyone involved. However, I believe it is worthy of another trial so that Evaristo Salas can have a chance to be with his family. Thank you.

Just discovered the STARZ docuseries Wrong Man & watched Evaristo Sala's episodes about his case. I literally just finished watching & had to look him up for an update. The fact that Evaristo is STILL locked up, after all that unfolded pointing to his innocence, just goes to show what is so wrong with our judicial system. I wish I could do more, but hopefully by signing will bring you one step closure to the justice & freedom you so very much deserve. May God continue to bless you & never give up. I pray for your release ASAP

After watching this story on Starz my heart goes out to this family and this young man. How can it be ok that a police detective was corrupt and and this young man has not been released?? At the very least re trial with FACTS and NOT corruption. This is why there is so much faith lost in our law enforcement and judicial system. Free Junior!!!!

It's still baffles me that this happens that innocent people can be sent to prison for practically a lifetime when all they did was wake up that morning like everyone else. You can be a 14 year old kid who's running in the wrong crowd yes but almost everyone makes stupid decisions when they're a teenager. That shouldn't mean that he's guilty of murder or at the proper age to be sentenced as an adult!!! Are you kidding me?!?!! Sent to adult prison at 14 years old at 5ft is basically signing his death warrant cuz his life will never be the same after the pedophiles and rapist get to him and what's worse is they even know that's going to happen to him and they don't care. As long as that lazy ass cop can close the case that's all that matters. It's beyond wrong and something needs to be done to stop this it's went on for way too long.

What a sick miscarriage of justice. Salis should have never been in jail for this crime, he needs to be released. Jim Revard needs to be criminally charged and every case he's ever come within 5 feet of needs to be reexamined. Imagine, cop doesn't like you so he frames you murder. Sick disgusting evil.
