Ever since I learned of Evaristo Salas’ case in 2018, I’ve been 100% sure he is innocent of murder. Det. Revard needs to answer for railroading Salas for 20+ years. Salas should be freed.

I am truly disgusted with the injustice that this man has received. The fact that he used his time in prison to better himself is amazing and inspiring!! I feel the girlfriend needs to be investigated MUCH further. If I lost me husband under those circumstances, I am 100 percent positive that my last thoughts would be to clean and sell the vehicle. That along with her consistent lies make me very suspicious. The jury should have known about the vehicle, as well as the hypnosis issues. I was 100 percent convinced of his innocence after watching ID, and then to learn that the paid informant states he was paid with money and drugs to accuse this young man. The informant recants and passes a lie detector, this is ridiculous and I am embarrassed by this police officer and the failure of the justice system to discover his innocence. No new trial is needed against Junior, there is overwhelming evidence of his innocence. Free this man today!!

This man was a child left to fight for himself when there wasn’t any evidence against him at all. Things the victims girlfriend as done since his murder and during the investigation sure makes it look as if she set him up to be killed. That certainly should have been investigated. It shouldn’t matter if all this new information is old or new it’s obvious he’s innocent. What kind of monsters are we when there is convincing evidence of innocence but it won’t be looked at because of a technicality? Are we as a country ok with sending innocent children to prison and keeping them there once we find out their innocent? Our system is so very broken when the wrongfully convicted have plenty of evidence to prove innocence yet we make them fight for years to be heard. Why? Is it because people involved don’t want to admit they are wrong? Any system that refuses to look at evidence of innocence and many times mountains of evidence is found and refused to be heard. Someone in a place of ability needs to just do the right damn thing here. Why is doing the right thing, something we teach our children, so hard for our very own court system? Keeping a man in prison when he’s innocent is NOT justice it’s abuse of power. Evaristo I am praying for you and your family as you all have been robbed far to long.
